GENERAL INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES SEEKING ADMISSION IN UNDER GRADUATE & POST GRADUATE COURSES 

The College offers regular degree courses of Pondicherry University under the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce & B.Com (Co-Operative Management. The Under Graduate courses are of three year duration. 

UG COURSES:

Candidates for Admission to Undergraduate Courses are required to have passed:-

1. The Higher secondary, Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination with English conducted by the Central or state Govt. Board.

  OR 

2. The Pre-University / Pre-degree Examination of a recognized University.

  OR 

3. Any other qualification equivalent to the above mentioned qualification approved by the Academic council of the University.

4. For B.Com (Commerce) Degree only those who have offered Commerce or Accountancy at the plus two levels are eligible for admission in Commerce stream. In case sufficient number of students are not available in Commerce stream only then others will be considered on the basis of merit.

5. Students must have passed English as a paper in the qualifying examination.

6. For admission to B.Com. Degree, candidates who have studied Commerce/Accountancy will be considered for admission.

In accordance with the policy of Govt. of India and the guidelines of the University Grants commission and Pondicherry University, criteria of seat reservation are followed in all the courses offered in the college, for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. All ST candidates who have passed the qualifying examination are eligible to apply for any course irrespective of percentage of marks. Reservation of seats for physically challenged students exists as per the criteria of the Pondicherry Central University.
