 Arunachal Committee visits Islands

 

 

The Committee on Estimates of the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly headed by its Chairman Shri Bosiram Siram arrived on a two-day study tour to the islands on May 23, 2005. The Chairman and members of the Committee called on the Hon’ble Lt. Governor, Prof Ram Kapse in the Raj Niwas today. 

On completion of tour the Committee will leave for Chennai on May 25, 2005.

CBSE Results

The result of Board examination for AISSCE (Class XII) 2005 has been declared.  The performance of schools of Andaman and Nicobar Islands are as under:

 In the Campbell Bay Zone, a total of 67 students had appeared in the examination out of which 62 have passed aggregating 92.54%.  Similarly in Little Andaman, total 149 appeared out of which 141 passed aggregating 94.63%. 

Issue of FI Cards in Baratang 

Computerized Family Identity Cards of Nilambur Panchayat and Sundergarh Panchayat, Baratang will be distributed to the card holders on 27th and 28th May, 2005 respectively at Panchayat Bhavan from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (with lunch break from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM)

 

The ration card holders are advised to produce counterfoils and existing ration cards at the distribution counters of Computerized Family Identity Cards. The cardholders shall sign before the issuing official. In case he/she is unable to attend in person, member of the family having Islander Identity Card may be authorized to receive the card. 

Under no circumstances the Family Identity Card will be handed over to any other person.
