Passing Out Parade of A&N Police

 

   The passing out parade of the 66^th batch of the A&N police and IRBn recruits will be held on June 18 from 0830 hrs to 1020 hrs at Police Lines Parade Ground. The Lt. Governor, A&N Islands will be the chief guest on the occasion.

 

 

LPG cylinders seized

 

   The Circle Officer (CS&CA) Diglipur alongwith Godown Incharge, Supply Unit, Diglipur and staff of LPG distributors made a surprise raid in the hotels at Subashgram Bazar and Aerial Bay recently and seized some domestic LPG cylinders, being used by some hoteliers for commercial purpose. They include M. Bhaskar, Ramesh Mistry, Uday Restaurant, Kalyani Bar, Annu Beer & Bar.

 

 

Power suspension

 

   The power supply will remain suspended at various places viz. Ograbraj, Mithakari, Namunaghar, Tushnabad to Tirur, Chouldari, Port Mourt, Sippighat, Guptapara, Manjeri, Manglutan, Wandoor from 8 am to 4 pm on June 15 in connection with reconstruction of 33 KV ABC feeder from Ograbraj to Namunaghar and errection of 6 pole structures at Ograbraj junction taken up by M/s power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.
