Documents to be enclosed

(a) Age proof

  • Birth Certificate OR
  • Matriculation Certificate

(b) Islander Proof

  • Local Certificate OR
  • Islander’s Identity Card OR
  • Election Card
(c)  Affidavit to the effect of being unmarried unrelated  and declaration of age.

Eligibility

  • Male should be above 21 years and female should be above 18 years.          
  • Both should be unmarried for fresh marriages.
  • Both should be unrelated. Three Witnesses to be present at the time of Solemnization of marriage.

  • The Second Schedule (See Section 5) Notice of Intended Marriage.
  • Form-IV (see rule-7(a)) Application for registration of Marriage under section 15 of the special marriage Act 154(XLIII of 1954).

 

Registration of Society under Society Registration Act 1860  (Act No.21 of 1860)

Application

Application inPlain paper.

Whom to Apply

The Registrar, Joint Stock Companies (the Deputy Commissioner) North & Middle Andaman District, Mayabunder.

Process

  • Application in Plain paper with Documents enclosed.
  • Forwarded to the Tehsildar for report against the premises from revenue point of view, and the character and antecedents of the members associated with this is verified by the Police Authority.
  • If there is no objection from all aspects and if the Registrar shall satisfy himself that the memorandum are in conformity as required by law, the society is registered under SR Act 1860 on payment of prescribed fees.

Documents to be enclosed

  • Three Copies of Bye Laws & memorandums  must purport to have been signed by at least seven members and the copy of the rules & regulations of the society must on the face of it bear the signature of not less than three of the members of the governing body.
  • Registration fee.

Registration of Vessel under IV Act, 1917

Application Form

Application in Plain paper.  

Whom to Apply

District Magistrate, North & Middle Andaman.

Process

  • Application in plain paper with documents enclosed.
  • The applicant is required to sign the declaration of ownership in Form II before the Registering Authority (DM, N&MA).
  • Subsequently, the applicant may deposit the required registration fee.
  • Registration number for the vessel is intimated to the applicant and after submission of the insurance in respect of the vessel, the applicant may collect the Certificate. of Registration.

Documents to be enclosed

  • Surveyor declaration in Form No.3B obtained from the Assistant Marine Engineer-I, DSS, Port Blair and the Harbour Master, Port Management Board, A&N Islands, Port Blair.
  • Description of the Motor vessel in Form No.IV
  • Declaration of ownership in Form II which has to be signed by the applicant in presence of the Registering Authority.
  • Proof of identity.
  • Photograph of the vessel with passenger capacity displayed onboard the vessel at a conspicuous place

Renewal:

        For renewal, the applicant may apply in a plain paper along with Surveyor's declaration in Form No.3B obtained from the Assistant Marine Engineer-I, DSS, Port Blair and the Harbour Master, Port Management Board, A&N Islands, Port Blair and insurance in respect of the vessel, if already expired.
