MIGRATION OF LOCAL MAIL SERVER TO NIC(HQ) |

We have migrated our mail server http://and.nic.in from NIC, Port Blair to NIC (HQ), New Delhi to provide better e-mail services and also successfully transferred old mails of all users from Andaman Mail Server to Mail server of NIC(HQ). In this regard kindly note the following points:- 1. The users have to provide complete e-mail address to login (For eg. If your existing login in mail server at Port Blair is rnr you now need to give rnr@and.nic.in as login name, password remains the same. However, please change the password as per the NIC policy. The password policy is available after login to the NIC Mail Server at Head Quarter.) 2. It is requested that all users kindly check wether their old mails (pre-migration mails) have been restored correctly or not. In case any issues in accessing the old mails, kindly let us know.
