Secretary (Revenue & IT) Sri P K Goel IAS, A&N Admn distributing the first computerized Register of Rights (ROR) to a tenant.

Dy Commissioner Sri Gyanesh Bharati IAS, Andaman District, is distributing  another ROR.                      

Demo of the Dweep Bhoomi software was given to Secretary & Dy Commissioner after the inauguration.

            The Land Record Management Information System namely Dweep Bhoomi software at Piolt teshil Ferrargunji in A&N Islands, was formally inaugurated by Sri P K Goel IAS, Secretary (Revenue & IT) on 20^th August 2005 in the presence of the Deputy Commissioner Sri Gyanesh Bharati IAS & other officials in the teshil. The compuetrised ROR’s were distributed to the tenants first time on this occasion by the Secretary & the Deputy Commissioner.

            The features of the software including mutations in the Land were presented to them by Mr Manivannan SIO NIC A&N Islands.

            The Dweep Bhoomi software was developed & implemented in the Pilot teshil, in association with NIC Tamil Nadu State Center, after fine tuning the TAMIL NILAM software implemented across Tamil Nadu.
