What to see and do The islands are suitable for adventure water sports like scuba diving, skiing, water surfing, sailing, para sailing, snorkeling and high sea fishing games.  Trekking through the dense evergreen forests and island camping in bench front forests are other activities.

Scuba diving Andaman waters offer a fascinating world of underwater marine life, varieties of colourful fishes, rarest of the coral reefs in the world, mysterious remains of sunken ships.  All these can be explored through scuba diving.

    Andaman Water Sports Complex at Port Blair is a unique centre run by the Directorate of Tourism,  It offers adventure sports like sailing, skiing, water rides on scooters and speed boats.

Snorkeling One can enjoy the under water marine life and view the rarest varieties of corals by snorkeling near the Andaman Water Sports Complex, Corbyn's Cove beach, Chidiya Tapu, North Bay , Jolly Buoy, Redskin, Cinque Island, Havelock and Ross and Smith Islands.

Trekking One can go trekking through the evergreen forest from Bambooflat to Mount Harriet to Madhuban, Kalipur (Diglipur) to saddle Peak and in Little Andaman to experience the life within the lovely, dark and deep forest.

Island Camping Island camps are the right choice for adventurous nature-lovers, who wish to enjoy sun, sea and the pristine beauty of nature by spending quiet holidays right on the beach. Camping is available at Radhanagar beach in Havelock Island from October to May.

Cinque Islands (39 km by sea from Port Blair) Declared as a sanctuary, these are enchanting islands with rare corals, marine life and tropical rain forest.  There is a beautiful sand bar joining the islands suitable for scuba diving and snorkeling.  Chartered boats required. No regular ferry.
